While they are very fashionable, PawZ was designed to be functional. Form follows function to create serious paw protection for your dog. These are protective boots, not a fashion accessory. Made of natural rubber, PawZ boots are biodegradable. And being environmentally green is always in fashion.

Your best friend’s health and safety is important to us.  That why we got into this business in the first place.  So there are a few things we think you should know in order to experience success maintaining paw health with PawZ Dog Boots. PawZ Dog Boots are waterproof.  Since water can’t get in, it also can’t get out.  Since your dog sweats through the paw, you will often find the paw moist after removing the boot.  For this reason, do not leave the boots on for an extended period of time. Please remove when your dog is resting or inactive.  Dogs should be supervised while wearing boots.  If PawZ are being used with a medical bandage, please be sure to purchase a larger size than usual to accommodate the increased diameter of the leg and surgical bandage.  Please be extra diligent if you or your dog has an existing infection and/or circulation problems, as extended use can exacerbate these conditions.

No. These boots fit snugly, but not so tight as to obstruct blood flow. They are not to be left on while your dog is resting or sleeping. They are typically worn while you are out with your dog, and are not intended to be left on all day.

Usually yes, but that depends on how high your dog’s dew claw happens to be. The boot does not have to cover the dew claw, but it should be as high up on the wrist as possible.

Yes. And if you own a swimming pool, our boots will protect the liner from being torn.

Yes, but you should choose an appropriate (larger) size that fits over the bandage. Do not leave it on while your dog is resting or sleeping. Use only while your dog is supervised.

Pure, 100% biodegradable rubber. We tap the sap of sustainable rubber trees. The color is derived from vegetable dye. PawZ boots are non-toxic.

That all depends on your dog’s activity level and the roughness of the terrain. We recommend filing their nails to help increase boot life.

We generally recommend removing them after one hour.

You can wash the boots with a mild soap, pat them dry and add a little corn starch or talc to safely absorb any additional moisture to restore the boots to their original state.

PawZ boots are designed to fit a dog’s paw anatomy. The opening of the boot goes up minimally as the size increases.  We recommend that you refer to the Sizing Guide to ensure the perfect fit.
