Both of my dogs love PAWZ, besides they look adorable. We have them in our store and sell them a lot as well. Here's a blog post we wrote recently about PAWZ: http://urban-pet.ca/up/2010/08/pawz/

We're really happy to have your product in our little Montreal store. This product is so much better than the traditional Velcro boots.

Cheers!

My doberman suffers from hydrocephalus that causes epilepsy. Lately, his anti seizure meds have caused him to become severely ataxic, especially in his hind end. He was struggling to grip on the hardwood floors and was continuously falling over and getting stuck. It was heartbreaking to watch. We purchased a set of your Paws boots last night and the difference was amazing! It took him a few minutes to get used to them, but once he did, he realized that he could run around and be silly again without having to worry about slipping and falling. Now we can take the time to figure out his medications without having to worry about him falling and hurting himself. I just wanted to say thanks!

Hi Ann - Many of our customers do use Pawz for their pets for hiking. Please note that these boots were designed and developed for dog walks and romps in the dog run. Because these boots are made of natural rubber they do "break down". As a result, you may be required to use multiple pairs on your hike for maximum protection. Prior to your journey I would recommend that your dog wears Pawz for a few walks to ensure proper sizing and clip toe nails to minimize puncturing the boots. Which ever boot you decide to use we applaude you for protecting your "best friends" paws!!!

Hi, We are looking for some paw protection for use while hiking in the Sierras. Would these be helpful? Your list of applications doesn't really include this so I thought I would check. The terrain can be rough and our labs feet have gotten torn up in the past. Thank you

I bought Pawz for my dog for traction control. He was having problems with his back legs & was falling on our tile floor. I put them on him & he has not fallen at all. He doesn't even know they are on him & he is making some traction. Love them! Question, I am concerned about circulation because they seem tight at the top. I bought a large & my dogs paws are 3.5". There is plenty of room in the paw area but was concerned about the top. He doesn't have circulation problems but don't want these to cause any.

Barkley is a bullmastiff that is a therapy dog for Hospice of the Valley and the VA hospital. He has had problems with the slick floors and refused to walk into some patients rooms for fear of falling. I have tried several other boots and he hated them and wouldn't walk in them (bullmastiffs are know for their stubbornness) Within 5 min. of putting on your boots he was walking on the tile floors. He is a hit at the nursing homes in his colorful boots. Other therapy volunteers have now bought them to help their dogs from slipping in hospitals. Thank you so much - plus it helps in the Scottsdale 100 degree weather.

Hi Susan - Thank you so much for your interest in PAWZ dog boots. We have many customers who use our product successfully as a barrier to protect their dogs paws from extremely hot asphalt. Please monitor your dog while wearing the boots as one of the great attributes of our product is that it is waterproof and therefore this product should not be left on for extended periods as the dog sweats through his paws. Each breed and dog is different -- you will know the appropriate amount of time for your pooch. From your note you are obviously concientious as to the best times and the "coolest" hours to walk your greyhound. We hope this helps you to make an educated decision if this product is right for you and will provide the solution you seek.
Stay Cool!!
