Hi Dean – Your question about the the size’s of PAWZ boots is a good one! The way to determine the best size is to measure the dog’s paw from the back of the large pad to the front of the longest toe pad. The dog’s nails should be properly trimmed for safety and to prevent puncturing. You know that there are Maltese of all sizes, and shapes – young, old, thin, robust, male & female. So we made Tiny, XX-Small and X-Small boots to cover all the bases. Owners of all breeds need to know the dimensions and then make an informed choice. You’ll find the heel to toe dimensions on the back of each package. PAWZ are designed to fit snug on the lower leg so they don’t fall off and loose around the paw itself.
